The Indiana State Police says an Odon man was rearrested Thursday following his initial arrest in April on charges of stalking and drug possession.

After the arrest of 45-year-old Matthew Cornelius, a no-contact order was issued through the court against him for the female victim and her children.

However, state police say they were later provided with information that Cornelius violated the no-contact order on multiple occasions.

After obtaining a warrant Wednesday from Knox County Superior Court, Cornelius was arrested at his home in Odon for Invasion of Privacy.

During his arrest, probable cause was found for suspected illegal drug activity inside the residence.

A search warrant was applied for and granted by the court.

During a search of the residence, suspected illegal drugs were found.

In addition to the Invasion of Privacy warrant, Cornelius was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

He is being held without bond in the Daviess County Security Center.
