An Evansville man is facing charges in connection with a head on collision Tuesday evening in Spencer County in which two people were killed.
Indiana State Police say 29-year-old Lindsey Baxter was traveling westbound on State Road 66 west of Reo when he veered left of center and collided head on with an eastbound car.
The driver of the car, 54-year-old Larry Lindsey of Rockport, and a passenger in the rear seat, 64-year-old Barry Morris of Whitesville, Kentucky, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A second passenger in the car, 44-year-old Jonathan Hurm, of Owensboro, Kentucky, was transported to an Indianapolis Hospital.
Baxter was treated at an Evansville hospital and released.
Baxter is facing two Counts of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Causing Death and one Count of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Causing Serious Bodily Injury.
