Indiana Gov. Mike Braun signed a letter of intent with Eli Lilly and Company to collaborate on nuclear energy solutions in the state, including small modular reactors.
Braun wants Indiana to become a leader in nuclear energy, calling it a clean and carbon-free energy source.
The partnership with Lilly will help explore opportunities for advanced nuclear technology.
