Lawyers defending the man in prison for the Delphi murders will be able to make oral arguments in an appeal.
The Indiana Court of Appeals granted Richard Allen’s attorney’s request this week.
Allen is serving a 130-year prison sentence for the 2017 deaths of 14-year-old Libby German and 13-year-old Abby Williams in Delphi.
The oral arguments in Allen’s appeal are scheduled for September 21st in the Supreme Court Courtroom at the Indiana Statehouse.
His appeal team argues the jury never heard evidence that would have proven Allen’s innocence.
