Indianapolis Metropolitan Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy for his alleged role in the shooting death of an Indiana University graduate last week.

Twenty-three-year-old Brett Scrogham was a top 100 student in the IU Kelley School of Business and was killed in a downtown Indianapolis parking garage May 28th.

The teenager was arrested Wednesday by the IMPD Violent Crimes Unit.

Chief Tanya Terry says the arrest was the result of countless hours of dedicated work by IMPD officers, detectives, and U.S. Marshals.
