A Pike County Grand Jury indicted a Kentucky man this week concerning a fatal crash on State Road 57 on March 3rd.

A 17-year-old driver was killed in the nearly head-on collision.

State Police determined that 19-year-old Justin Nunez Solis of Sebree, Kentucky caused the crash by crossing the center line into the path of the oncoming vehicle.

The Pike County Prosecutor’s Office says the Grand Jury returned True Bills on two indictments, both Level 5 Felonies: Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Ever Having Received a Valid Driver’s License Resulting in Death,), and Reckless Homicide.

Solis was arrested Thursday in Webster County, Kentucky, where he remains jailed until he can be extradited to Indiana to face the charges.
