A Pike County Circuit Court jury found a Petersburg man guilty Thursday of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon.

The Pike County Prosecutor’s Office says the jury also acquitted 59-year-old Lloyd Coleman on a related count of Possession of Methamphetamine.

Pike County Sheriff’s deputies recovered eight firearms from Coleman’s residence during a search in 2025.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 30th.

Coleman faces a possible sentence of between two and twelve years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.

He is currently serving a six-year sentence out of Pike County for Probation Violation from a 2017 methamphetamine conviction.
