Indiana state Senator Liz Brown is asking Indiana Recount Commission member Paul Mullin to recuse himself from the recount of her primary win.
Brown says the Indianapolis attorney made campaign contributions to her challenger, Darren Vogt.
State Election Division records show Mullin gave Vogt two-thousand-dollars for his campaign.
Brown beat Vogt by just 14-votes in the primary, and he has requested a recount.
