One person died Thursday night in a crash involving a side by side off road vehicle in Daviess County.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 10:30 p.m. on County Road 450 South, west of County Road 50 West.
A passenger, 28-year-old Israel Waggoner of Washington, was killed.
The sheriff’s office says the driver, 31-year-old Miranda Knepp of Washington, lost control when she swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle.
The side by side rolled onto its passenger side, slid several yards, and came to a rest on the south side of the roadway.
The sheriff’s office says Knepp’s blood alcohol level was .12.
She was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Causing Death.
