Purdue University has been named the second best-value public university in the nation, according to a new study by SmartAsset.
The ranking evaluated more than 500 public colleges across the country based on annual cost of attendance, graduation rates, and median alumni earnings.
Purdue topped all other public institutions in Indiana and the Big Ten, trailing only the University of Florida nationally.
SmartAsset highlighted Purdue’s 83-percent graduation rate, median alumni earnings over 72-thousand dollars, and an annual cost of attendance under 25-thousand dollars.
