The Posey County commission has admitted they have signed an NDA with a development company amid worries by residents that a data center could be located in the county soon.
Farmers in the area of Boberg and Hoenert roads say they have been asked to lease their land, but David Esche says he “turned them down flat.”
Commissioner Bill Collins says they have not had any developments proposed to them yet.
The Area Plan Commission will discuss data centers in a special session Monday evening.
