Work continues on the Amazon delivery station being built in the U-S 41 Industrial Park south of Vincennes.
Amazon officials say they hope to have the facility up and running by the Christmas season.
Chris Pfaff, CEO of Knox County Indiana Economic Development, says the station is expected to create around 170 jobs.
Delivery stations, such as the one being built, power the last mile of Amazon’s order process and help speed up deliveries.
Packages are shipped to a delivery station from neighboring Amazon fulfillment and sortation centers, loaded into delivery vehicles, and delivered to customers
