A Jasper man entered into a plea agreement this week calling for him to plead guilty to a charge of burglary for breaking into the Legacy Steakhouse in Jasper and stealing money.
The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office says that in exchange for his guilty plea, 38-year-old Douglas Bailey would receive a sentence of
1,095 days, with the first 480 days to be executed and the remaining 615 days to be suspended to supervised probation.
In addition, Bailey would be required to pay restitution to Legacy Steakhouse.
Dubois Circuit Court Judge Nathan Verkamp took the plea agreement under advisement and set the matter for sentencing on September 21st.
