Daviess and Area Counties See Unemployment Rates Fall from Year Ago Levels

Daviess County’s unemployment rate in July was 3%, six-tenths of a percent lower than the same time last year.

Martin County’s jobless rate in July stood at 2.9%, three-tenths of a percent lower than July of 2025.

Dubois County’s rate was 3.1%, three tenths of a percent lower than the same time in 2025.

Sullivan County unemployment rate of 3.2% in July was eight tenths of a percent lower than the same time a year ago.

Gibson County’s jobless rate was also 3.2%, three tenths of a percent lower than the year before.

Pike County’s July unemployment rate was 3.5%, six tenths of a percent lower than the same time last year.

Knox County’s 3.5% unemployment rate for July was six tenths of a percent lower than July of 2025.

Greene County had an unemployment rate of 3.7% last month, a half percent lower than the year before.

The average unemployment rate of Indiana’s 92 counties in July was 3.6%.
