The Indiana Supreme Court has set Jeffrey Weisheit’s execution date for November 5th.

He will be Indiana’s fourth death row inmate put to death since the state resumed executions to carry out death sentences less than two years ago.

Weisheit was sentenced to death for the 2010 deaths of eight-year-old Alyssa Lynch and her five-year-old brother, Caleb Lynch, in a fire at their home in Evansville.

State attorneys say he had exhausted all of his state and federal appeals and had no active stay of execution.

Weisheit is at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City.
