A new free mental health resource is now available in Loogootee.
The Good Samaritan Home Board of Directors and the University of Southern Indiana’s Social Work Department are hosting a walk-in clinic at the Loogootee Public Library.
It’s open to anyone 18 and older — no appointment needed, and it’s completely confidential.
Visitors can meet one-on-one with a supervised clinical social work student for support, problem-solving, and coping tools, plus referrals for ongoing care if needed.
The clinic runs every third Friday — September 18th, October 16th, and November 20th — from 9:30 to 3:30 in the library’s back entrance.
