An Indianapolis man is dead after being struck by a semi tractor-trailer on I-70 in Cloverdale in Putnam County Monday afternoon.
An Indiana State Police investigation revealed that 46-year-old Jose Serrano pulled his box truck over on the right shoulder of westbound I-70 before the crash occurred.
After pulling over, Serrano got out of his truck and was hit by the semi.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi tractor trailer pulled over and is cooperating with police.
