Greenwood, Indiana has approved a plan to build a Buc-ee’s near I-65 and Worthsville Road.
The Greenwood Common Council voted 7-2 Monday to rezone about 80 acres for the project.
About 37 acres would be used for the Buc-ee’s.
The $85 million travel center would cover 74,000 square feet and include 120 fuel pumps and EV charging stations.
Buc-ee’s would help pay for about $14 million in road improvements, including a roundabout at Worthsville and Collins Roads and changes to the I-65 interchange.
