Castle High School’s marching band is heading to New York City after earning an invitation to perform in the 2027 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
School leaders surprised students with the news Saturday, revealing the Castle Marching Knights were chosen to perform out of more than 100 marching bands that applied across the nation.
This marks another national stage for the program, which also performed in the 2024 Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.
