The Indianapolis Colts’ 1-and-5 start to the season has netted its first casualty.
General Manager Chris Ballard was fired Monday after ten years in charge.
Indy made the playoffs twice in Ballard’s first four seasons in charge, but haven’t returned since 2020 as the franchise has suffered a revolving door of quarterbacks.
Head coach Shane Steichen will remain on the job, for now.
