People in Vincennes who need help with behavioral health no longer must wait weeks for their first appointment.
The Family Health Center is now offering same-day evaluations at its Green Door Access and Crisis Center.
Clients can walk in, get screened and assessed, and be connected to the right level of care.
The center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
No referral is needed, and it serves children, teens and adults dealing with mental health or substance use concerns.
Since opening in September, the center has already served 109 clients.
The Green Door Access and Crisis Center is located at 300 North First Street.
