Hoosier drivers will keep catching a break at the pump.
Governor Mike Braun signed executive orders on Wednesday extending Indiana’s energy emergency for another 30 days, through December 4th.
That keeps the state’s gas excise tax and gasoline usage tax suspended in all 92 counties.
A second order lets farmers and timber harvesters keep using dyed diesel fuel in qualifying highway vehicles, a move aimed at easing costs as farmers bring in the corn and soybean harvest.
The governor first moved to lower fuel costs in April, and his office says Indiana had the most affordable gas in America this summer.
