Sports Racap for Wednesday

The Rivet Girls soccer team won a shoot out 3-1 over South Knox to post a Blue Chip Conference victory. Delaney Foley had the South Knox goal while Lissa Willis scored for Rivet. The victory moves the Lady Patriots to 6-1 on the season while South Knox falls to 5-2.
The Lincoln boy’s soccer team lost at Jasper 7-1. Jonah Turpin had the Lincoln goal.
The North Knox girls soccer team picked up its first win of the season, blanking Owen Valley 2-0. Leslie Kaetzel and Kambric Rode had the lady Warrioir goals.
The Lincoln Volleyball team lost to Jasper 3-0. Amya Woodall had 22 digs for the Alices while Kahre McCrary added 12. Jasper won the JV Contest 2-0. Lexi Bailey had six kills while Pressley Davis added 14 assists.
Vincennes Rivet rallied from a set down to beat Evansville Christian 3-1. Mary Herman had a triple double of 10 points, 16 kills and 12 digs. Claudia Herman added 14 points and 20 assists while Piper Lewis added 12 points and 19 assists.
The North Knox Girls Volleyball team lost to WRV 3-0. Malli Lyons had 23 digs for North Knox while Alex McKinley had six kills. WRV won the JV Contest 2-0. Olivia Jones led the Warriors with 16 points.
The South Knox Tennis Team beat Pike Central 4-1. Winning in singles play for the Spartans were Reid Martin and Ely Baker and the doubles team of Avery Deckard and Issac True and the team of Maddox Sargeant and Layne Hays.
The South Knox Golf team participated in a tri-match at Princeton. The host school was first with 195 points. Pike Central had a 197 and South Knox a 207. Eliza Dellinger and Olivia Catt each had a 46 for the Spartans.
Middle school sports…
The Clark Girls Cross Country team finished 7th at the Loogootee invitational. Top finisher was Sawyer Keusch who placed sixth. The Clark Boys finished third at the Loogootee Invite. Tyler Luking led CMS with a sixth place finish while Landon Carter was 7th and Grant Deckard 14th.
South Knox 7th grade volleyball lost to Pike Central 2-0. Kodee Yarbor had seven points. The South Knox 8th grade beat Pike Central 2-0. Brooklyn Flaningam had 16 points, ten aces and eight assists while Shelbi Carie added 11 points.
The Rivet 8th grade volleyball team lost to Washington 2-0. Jude Ransom and Sophia Cleghorn each had three aces. The 7th grade fell 2-0. Kaylin Bezy with four kills for the Patriots.
The Vincennes University womens volleyball team beat Southwestern College 3-0. Rylee Edwards had 29 assists for VU, which moves to 8-4 on the season.

The Lincoln girls golf team takes part in the SIAC golf match at Cambridge at 9:30.
South Knox plays at Springs Valley quad at five.
