The Indiana Department of Transportation says State Road 57 near Buckskin in Gibson County is scheduled to be closed on or around Monday, May 11th for bridge maintenance work.
The highway will be closed between East County Road 850 South and East County Road 750 South over Smith Fork.
Work is expected to take a month to complete, depending on the weather.
The official detour will be State Road 68 to I-69 to State Road 168.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
