A 60-year-old Petersburg woman was sentenced to 20-years in prison Monday for Dealing in Methamphetamine.

The Pike County Prosecutor’s Office says Pike Circuit Judge Evan Biesterveld also vacated the conviction of Bonita Kay Wiscaver for Possession of Methamphetamine, finding it to be an included offense of the dealing conviction.

And the judge imposed a 2 1/2-year sentence for Maintaining a Common Nuisance which will be served concurrently.

The prosecutor’s office says that in imposing the sentence, Judge Biesterveld found two aggravating circumstances: first, that Wiscaver has a criminal history consisting of two prior felony convictions and six misdemeanor convictions; and second, that prior lenient treatment had not deterred her criminal behavior, noting that she had been placed on probation three times with one prior revocation.
