Indiana State Police say an Illinois murder suspect was apprehended Thursday on I-69 in Daviess County.
The ISP, Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, and Washington Police had earlier been contacted about a possible murder suspect traveling on I-69.
37-year-old Brandon Jones of Chicago was pulled over by a state trooper near Washington.
Jones was arrested without incident and taken to the Daviess County Jail where he will be held for extradition back to Chicago.
Traffic on I-69 was stopped briefly to conduct the arrest.
