Indiana Governor Mike Braun says he is considering extending the state gas tax holiday that is scheduled to end June 7th.
Braun says it looks like “there might be flexibility to continue it.”
He suspended Indiana’s seven-percent sales tax on gasoline April 8th and expanded the relief for Hoosier drivers on May 6th when he suspended the state’s 36-cents per gallon excise tax.
Drivers are paying about 59-cents per gallon less for gas than they would if the taxes hadn’t been suspended.
