Hoosier gas prices are the lowest in the entire United States.
Triple-A says the statewide average price is currently three-dollars-82-cents a gallon, well below the national average of four-dollars-43-cents.
Governor Mike Braun has suspended Indiana’s gas and excise tax, saving drivers nearly 60-cents a gallon.
He claims the state can afford the tax holiday even if the taxes fund the Indiana infrastructure budget.
The taxes are suspended through June 7th due to the price hike caused by the war with Iran.
