A woman and her dog were rescued from floodwaters in Gibson County on Sunday.
The sheriff’s office says the 72-year-old woman’s vehicle was stranded in floodwater on State Road 64 east of Oakland City.
Deputies were called in because the water was too high for a tow truck to retrieve it.
