A 17-year-old boy died after drowning at New Lake Campground near Oakland City.
Indiana DNR officials say crews were called to the campground around 5:25 p.m. Monday after a report of a person missing in the water.
Patoka Township Fire, Oakland City Police, the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana DNR and the Evansville Fire Department responded.
Crews found the teenager’s body shortly after 7 p.m.
