By John Szink Jul 9, 2026 | 12:35 PM

Duke Energy Indiana is dedicating $350,000 in financial aid to help low-income Hoosiers pay their electric bills this summer.

Eligible customers can receive a credit of up to $250 placed directly onto their accounts.

The utility is partnering with the Indiana Community Action Association to distribute shareholder-funded rebates.

Hoosiers struggling with seasonal cooling costs should contact their local Energy Assistance Program agency to apply.
