The Ports of Indiana has secured a record-breaking twenty-five-million-dollar federal grant for a massive expansion at its Jeffersonville port.
The thirty-two-million-dollar project will transform the Ohio River facility by adding a three-hundred-ton crane, a new barge dock, and a massive warehouse.
Governor Mike Braun says the project will strengthen supply chains, create high-quality jobs, and boost southern Indiana’s economy.
Construction is expected to be completed by 2028.
