The Indiana Military Museum in Vincennes has been awarded a $295,996 grant through the Indiana First Region’s READI Arts & Culture Initiative.
The grant will be used to enhance three new exhibits featuring large-scale scenic dioramas depicting historic World War II and Korean War battlefront street scenes.
Judge Jim Osborne, founder and president of the Indiana Military Museum, says the grant allows the museum to complete an on-going effort, started in 2018, to complete the virtual diorama scenes from WWII and Korea.
