Jasper Police say a Jasper woman is facing three counts of Neglect of a Dependent following an incident last week in the 1300 block of Dewey Street.
Officers responded to the address after receiving a report of a small juvenile hanging out of a third-story apartment window.
Police say it was determined 34-year-old PJ Perez was asleep while caring for her three children, two of which are under the age of ten.
During this time, the younger two juveniles were hanging out of the apartment’s third story window, throwing objects at people below.
Police say Perez’ apartment was disheveled, unclean, and determined to be unsuitable living conditions for the children.
