The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about a pair of phone scams.
Scammers are once again calling Knox County Citizens pretending to be law enforcement officers.
They say a relative has been in an accident, was arrested, and needs bail.
Then they put another scammer on the phone pretending to be the young relative being charged.
A second scam being reported is the Jury Duty Scam where the scammer tells his victim that they missed jury duty and asks for personal financial information.
If you get a call like this, hang up and block the number.
