Despite severe weather causing five days of gate closures and sheltering in place, the 169th Indiana State Fair drew 800,461 visitors and set records during its final week.
The 15-day event debuted a renovated Hoosier Lottery Free Stage—which saw a record-breaking crowd of 9,000 for artist Josiah Queen—a new Fall Creek Parkway gate, and a permanent State Fair Train depot.
