Pike County homeowners and renters affected by last month’s severe storms, tornadoes and flooding have until October 25th to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance.

The county was recently added to Indiana’s federal disaster declaration, making residents eligible for help with immediate needs, temporary lodging, home repairs, property loss and other disaster expenses.

Applications must be submitted by the October 25th deadline.

Residents can apply at DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362.

Public Assistance is also available to local governments and eligible nonprofits for repair and recovery
