Governor Mike Braun says Indiana is strengthening quality of place through the READI program — investing in housing, parks, workforce and resident services.
Local leaders broke ground on Tuesday on a READI 2.0 project in Princeton: The Arc Southwest Indiana.
The 7.9 million dollar, nearly 16,000 square-foot facility will be a fully accessible hub for individuals with disabilities in Gibson and surrounding counties.
It will replace five aging buildings, bringing day services, workforce development, life-skills training and transportation under one roof.
Construction is underway now, with completion expected by mid-2028.
