Governor Mike Braun broke ground in Odon Wednesday on a major expansion for Kratos Defense.
Less than two years after first breaking ground in Daviess County, Kratos is building two new facilities.
The 183,000 square foot AN/SPY-1 complex – the Indiana Radar Integration Complex – will repair, test and sustain the Navy’s critical radar system.
And the new Helios Arc Jet and Laser Facility – with a 20-megawatt arc jet and 200-kilowatt laser – will test thermal protection for hypersonic vehicles, filling a critical gap in America’s defense industrial base.
