Two local marching bands are headed to the Class “C” state finals.
The Washington Gold Pride and Vincennes Lincoln’s Pride of the Green will compete November seventh at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Lincoln performs first at 1:35 p.m. Washington takes the field at 3:35 p.m. as the final Class “C” band, with results announced afterward.
Other area finalists include Jasper and Evansville North in Class “B,” Evansville Mater Dei in Class “D,” and Castle in Class “A.”
The Indiana State School Music Association sanctions the annual competition.
