WASHINGTON HATCHET FOOTBALL HOME ATTENDANCE POLICY
VARSITY AND JUNIOR HIGH HOME CONTEST
Hatchets, as we begin the fall season, we are certainly in times where it is necessary to restrict our attendance at home football contest per the Governor’s mandate on crowds. We have worked very closely with the Daviess County Health Department. At this time, we are limiting attendance on the home side to 250 people. The visiting team will be limited to 200 tickets for the visiting side. In order to do this, tickets will only be sold to players families as well as cheerleaders for home contest. Sophomore through Senior football athletes and cheerleaders will be given the option to purchase four tickets. Freshman football athletes and freshman cheerleaders will be given the option of purchasing two tickets. Each player/household is encouraged to buy their limit. How they distribute them is up to them.
Due to these restrictions, there will be no tickets sold at the gate and each person must have a ticket to enter the gate. Players, coaches, cheerleaders and essential personnel needed to manage the game will not need a ticket.
Here is the distribution plan for players:
Parents can purchase their tickets for the players at Hatchet Hollow on the Thursday before a varsity home contest between 6 and 8 PM. Jr. High home contest tickets can be purchased the day before their contest at Hatchet Hollow between 6 and 8 PM.
Players also have the option of purchasing tickets in the athletic office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Each community we play will have different attendance policy based on the size of their stadium. When we go on the road we will get that information out as quickly as we get it.
If there comes a time when the governor lifts attendance restrictions we will get that message out.
At this time there are no restriction on soccer and volleyball home attendance.
