Spring Mill State Park offers 10 Mile Challenge

August 6 - September 30

Spring Mill State Park and the Friends of Spring Mill group are adding their own trail challenge to the list of Indiana State Park trail challenges, and this one will be the longest of the group.Spring Mill Spring Mill’s challenge is 10.8 miles long and encompasses all of the park’s trails. Knox County Chamber of Commerce 10th annual Trap Shoot

The Knox County Chamber of Commerce will hold its 10th annual Trap Shoot Friday, October 9th. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with the Competition beginning at 10 a.m.. It will be held at the Vincennes Gun Club. Lunch will be provided and served during the day. Sponsorship and Registration is due on October 1st.

Car Seat Clinic in Vincennes

JMH to Host Car Seat Clinic; Limited Number of Car/Booster Seats to be Given Away

Memorial Hospital’s Trauma Services and Women and Infant Services will be giving away a limited number of child car seats and booster seats at a Car Seat Clinic on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Medical Arts Building parking lot at 721 W. 13th Street in Jasper. GSH Men’s Wellness Fair

Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes is offering a Men’s Wellness Fair on Tuesday, September 29th at the Highland Woods Community Center on South Hart Street in Vincennes from 7 to 10 a.m. and again from 4 to 7 p.m. Attendees must pre-register online at gshvin.org/wellnessfair. All attendees will be socially distanced and must wear a mask. Fasting for 10-12 hours before the lab draw is recommended, but not required.

“Parent’s Night Out” series sponsored by Purdue Extension

Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Caregiver Support Group

The next meeting of Jasper Memorial Hospital’s Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Caregiver Support Group is Tuesday October 6th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the Medical Arts Conference Center. These support group allows caregivers to come together to share knowledge and experiences in caring for loved ones who are affected by these illnesses. Pre-registration is not necessary.
