Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s lactation consultants are offering free walk-in, infant weight checks on Wednesdays except the 1st Wednesday of the month from 9-11 a.m. Lactation consults will also be available by appointment if needed. 812-996-0383. Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper offers a class called “Change the Life you Live: Diabetes.” These classes offer the opportunity to achieve optimal health while living with diabetes. The Memorial Hospital Foundation is offering over $77,000 in scholarship opportunities for current high school seniors or students currently enrolled in post-secondary education. The Rotary Club of Dubois County will host a speech contest for Dubois County High School students, with a cash prize of $250 for the chosen winner. The private event will be held Saturday, February 11th at the Jasper Public Library at 9:30 am. Email Rotaryclubduboiscounty@gmail.com with the contestant’s name, current grade, school name, or if homeschooled, the contestant’s email address and phone number. The deadline to register is February 6th. There is no charge to participate.
