Online American Heart Association E-Learning

Four out of five cardiac arrests happen at home. Are you prepared with CPR if a loved one suffers a cardiac emergency? The American Heart Association is making CPR training more accessible by offering blended learning, an online training tool! Infant Weight Checks at Jasper Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s lactation consultants are offering free walk-in, infant weight checks every Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. Lactation consults will also be available by appointment if needed. 812-996-0383. Weight checks will be held in the First Level Conference Room. Enter the main entrance of the hospital and stop at the information desk to be screened.

Generations: Build a Basket

October 26 - November 30

This holiday season, Generations is sponsoring its 12th annual Build-A-Basket project to help provide for the basic needs of Generations clients in Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Knox, Martin and Pike counties. Just purchase a laundry basket or tote and fill it with items such as dish soap, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. A list of suggested basket items, as well as list of drop-off sites is available at generationsnetwork.org

Entrys Being Taken for Vincennes Christmas in the Park

Christmas in the Park in Vincennes will be held on Friday December 4th and Saturday December 5th. Instead of a float passing you, you can drive by a stationary float. The Annual Christmas Lights Display at Ouabache Trails Park will be held this year from November 27th to December 26th from 5:30PM until 9:00 PM. Families are invited to drive through the park to view the displays. Everyone is welcome and donations are sincerely appreciated. Due to the Pandemic, Santa will not be available this year.

Drive Through Santa Visit

Join Washington’s Park and Recreation Dept.December 1st or 17th from 6-8 pm at the entrance of Eastside Park for a “Drive Through” only visit with Mr. & Mrs. Claus.  They might even have a treat for the kiddos😊 Then continue on through the park to view our beautiful Christmas light displays!  Be sure to keep your eye out for the Grinch and share on the parks fb page where you spied him.  He could be lurking anywhere!!!!!!!!
